shut up, you robot tranny impostor

Mental as Rachel Zoe is, I like to think that she does have a bit of a sense of humor about herself. She’s already a walking self-parody (albeit one whose jewelry cabinet I would REALLY like to invade). Which is what makes this clip so funny.

A spot-on Zoe impersonator, the actual presence of Team Zoe (Hi Brad!), quips about Rodger’s hair. DIE.

The show itself is actually rather dull, save for the shopping interludes. It’s kind of like The Hills in that respect, in that’s it’s all glossy surfaces, extended scenes of conspicuous consumption, and aerial shots of Los Angeles.* Wonder what will be on offer now that Taylor has left. Probably things won’t be the same without her frenetic Blackberrying and eye-rolling. I’ll still watch it, of course.

*What’s hilarious is when they pan away from the clogged freeway shots and sunsets to show us…downtown L.A.! It’s so pitiful. Just be honest. A shot of a Korean BBQ restaurant in a strip mall, or a high-turnover dry cleaner is probably more dynamic.
